Yesterday, the 16th of December, 2023, our Not-for-profit organization, CHEER UP AFRICAN SOCIETY HUMANITARIAN FOUNDATION delivered essential aid and comforting presence to the Internally Displaced Persons camp in Karmajiji, Abuja.

Meeting these victims who have suffered from and displaced by the atrocities of Boko Haram in the North East, our show of kindness and empathy made a significant difference, reminding those affected that they are not alone in their struggles.

Among the numerous challenges being faced by these people, (ranging from shortages or lack of food, healthcare, infrastructure, abject poverty, neglect, etc etc), we were saddened to discover that over 200 children in the IDP camp are currently out of school because their parents cannot afford tuitions and the Government has refused to intervene.

We made a pledge that our Foundation shall spearhead a campaign that will ensure the enrollment of all the children in that camp, so they can all go to school in 60days from now!
In the coming days, we shall make known the procedures towards actualizing that goal!

On behalf of CUASH FOUNDATION, I express my gratitude to all our members, volunteers, donors and prospective sponsors for your immense contributions towards putting smiles on the faces of the needy. Indeed, every human deserve to be happy, healthy, and safe!

In our quest to spreading hope across Africa, your sacrifices shall always be embedded in Golden ink.

Thank you all. Let’s do more of this, please!!

Signed:

Comrade Muhammed Adoke
Deputy Country Director (Nigeria)
